March 2018

March 14, 2018 was the Fairview Park “State of the Community” address night by Mayor Eileen Patton and Superintendent Dr. Bill Wagner at the Gemini Center. Nearly 300 citizens attended this dynamic and most engaging overview of the city and the schools.

Fairview Park Democratic Club members Bridget King, Sue Streitel, Laurie Hutchinson and 16th District State House Rep Candidate Cassimir Svigelj took the opportunity to invite any “State of the Community” attendees to complete Voter Registration forms, to review information about Candidates in the May 2018 elections, or to join our Club.  To view the video here.

March 24, 2018 was the occasion when millions of people gathered all across the country to unite as one in the “MARCH FOR OUR LIVES.” (See earlier article.)

On the night of March 24, 2018 a large group of enthusiastic Dems gathered at Brookgate Lanes in Brook Park.  Shontel Brown, Chairwoman of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party hosted the $10 admission event and welcomed all 2018 Candidates present to speak with  us.  Pizza, soft drinks & rounds of bowling got everyone fired up & ready to “take back Ohio!”
