Fairview Park Democratic Club will meet on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the Dunson Room at Fairview Park City Hall.

Susan Palmer Moran, 16th Congressional District Democratic Candidate, and Cassimir Svigelj, Ohio House Candidate for the 16th District, will both attend and address ways they can each prepare for the November 6, 2018 election and take on their GOP opponents with confidence in a strong Democratic Voter turnout.

We congratulate and thank all the other Candidates who attended our Club meetings during the past year, and hope to celebrate with those who were victorious in May 2018.

While the May Primary election is now history, we know that the General election is only 157 days away!  What do you say when people ask you about why your Democratic Candidate is the one best suited for the job?  We want to give you an opportunity on Sunday, June 10th to meet Rob Richardson, for Ohio State Treasurer.  Rob is hoping to attend our Fairview Park Democratic Club Family Picnic from 1-4:00 p.m. at the Bain Pavillion.  Learn about Rob at: http://www.robforohio.com/robrichardson

Many other Candidates for the November ballot will be visiting the Fairview Park Democratic Club booth at Bohlken Park during Fairview Park’s Summerfest 2018  from June 29 – July 1, 2018.  Plan to stop at our booth during Summerfest to meet and greet Candidates, purchase one of our daily prize raffle tickets, bring your friends and family to become Democratic Club Members, and chat with other Democrats! Learn more about how Dems can WIN in 2018!

If you’re interested in Democratic Party data and information, here are a few websites to browse. http://www.boe.cuyahogacounty.us will give you access to May 2018 election results, give you the option to take a VOTER SURVEY, and assist you with an address update or Vote By Mail information, etc. Then a visit to http://www.democrats.org/party-platform gives you access to the pdf version of the Mission and Platform adopted at the 2016 Democratic National Convention, which you can read at your leisure and become well informed for social and political conversations.  Finally, visit http://www.ohiodems.org for Voter Registration, Volunteer opportunities, and Donation and Dems Events. Here you can read coverage about the past 6 weeks of chaos and turmoil at the Ohio State House as the GOP struggles to identify a new Speaker of the House.

Let’s do all that we can to get Dems registered to vote in November, and get many of the Dems who didn’t vote recently to get back to the Polls in November 2018!
