Ohio Senator Michael J. Skindell (Ohio District 23) will address the Fairview Park Democratic Club on October 4, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the Dunson Room at Fairview Park City Hall.

Senator Skindell plans to update us on such Ohio Statehouse topics as:  Payday Loans, the Ohio Rainy Day Fund, and his recent appointment to the working group “Toward a Cleaner Lake Erie” to find real solutions to the toxic algae blooms on Lake Erie.

Plan to arrive early and get a front seat. Bring your questions and concerns about these and any other topics pertaining to Ohio citizens.

Senator Skindell and other Candidates on the upcoming November 6th ballot will be available to discuss their credentials and to seek your support and you vote.

Heard of “Hola Ohio?” Christy Harst Rodriguez will outline the impact of  ICE raids on children and families in Ohio.

The Fairview Park Democratic Club Nominating Committee will present a slate of candidates willing to be considered for election as Club Officers for a term from 2019 through 2020.

Former President Barack Obama visited Cleveland on September 9, 2018 in support of Richard Cordray and Betty Sutton. He said: “If you don’t like what’s going on right now, …and you shouldn’t,… do not complain..don’t hashtag, don’t get anxious, don’t retreat…don’t boo.  VOTE!

President Obama challenged everyone to do all they can to ensure that their families, neighbors, and friends have a plan to Vote!

We have 39 days from September 28, 2018 until November 6, 2018! What are YOU doing to rally with Dems and get others to the polls?

During October Fairview Park Democratic Club Members and Friends are invited to join with Anthony Kukura and the College Democrats from Baldwin Wallace University to help GOTV.  Collaboration on Phone-banking and neighborhood canvassing on will occur October 3 & 6 in Fairview Park, on October 14 in Lorain County, on October 29, 30, and 31 in Fairview Park.
